Laela Jeyne Patterns is releasing their new Summer Collection. And guess who was invited to join the corresponding Blog Tour…this gal, right here! 😍 www.annasheirloomboutique.com I chose to sew up the NEW Lily Blouse. As a busy mom of 4 kids, easy-to-wear (and style) clothing is high up on my priority list of clothes to sew. This top has a nice classic, goes-with-everything design. Which I LOVE. Simply throw it on over a pair of jeans, and you’re good to go!   The Lily Blouse has an exposed zipper in the back. Totally on-trend right now! 😍 I used a zipper in a contrasting color to highlight this design feature, and…

Hey everybody! I’ve got a fun little tutorial for the cutest, most comfortable bubble shorts your little girl will ever have 😍 So, I was lucky enough to be a pattern tester for the Unfancy Pants from Unfancy Designs.  As I was sewing up the pants, I couldn’t help but think that they would make the cutest bubble shorts. The front panel and the pleats are just too perfect. Pillowcase Dress Tutorial

Vintage embroidered linens have a certain charm to them. Maybe it’s because they remind us of a simpler time. Back before the days of cell phones and internet and reality TV shows…. Back then, embroidery was a favorite past time for many women. They embroidered everything from tea towels, table runners, home decor and bed linens. How I Pamper Vintage Linens

Hey, all! With all the preparing I’ve been doing to re-open my Etsy Shop, I keep neglecting to write. So today, I thought I’d give you an inside look at one of the less glamorous, but sooo important, tasks in my day-to-day operations. How I pamper vintage linens. But, since cleaning is one of the less appealing aspects of my job, I’ve given it a better name: Spa Day! 😍 Because after all, vintage linens are often forgotten and neglected. Packed away in a dusty attic, shoved in the back of an unused drawer or sitting on a thrift store shelf, waiting for someone to rescue it from its sad fate. …
