That’s right! The NEW Kingston Jacket is THE denim jacket everyone needs in their wardrobe, and it’s available in women and kids’ unisex sizes (Hey! That includes the boys, too!)

And, it’s just perfect for Spring. I mean, just imagine all the Spring-y outfits that would look great with a classic denim jacket.

And, of course, some of the other patterns Mummykins and Me has to offer would go swimmingly with their new denim jacket….

Like, imagine the new Kingston over the Monte Carlo Maxi.

Or, how about a more casual look, pairing it with the Dreamy Drape Top?

Oh! And worn over the Comfy Cowl Hoodie for the boys!

Hey, I recognize those funny little faces, lol. That’s right! My kiddos are the cover for the Comfy Cowl Hoodie 😉

BTW: The Kingston Denim Jacket has some amazing untraditional features, too. Did you see all the sleeve options (pic above)? Ahh!!! I know right?! Kinda makes it hard to choose…..

But after looking, and drooling, and pondering…. I finally decided to do the Half Angel Sleeves for my little Angel. Just look how adorable it turned out <3

For my daughter’s jacket, I went with this super lightweight denim Telio Stretch Marlow Denim Shirting Denim Fabric By The Yard.

BTW: Did you know that if you purchase from Fabric.com through Amazon, that you can get FREE shipping on orders over $49? 😀

This lighter material gave her jacket just the right amount of drape to compliment the Angel sleeves without loosing their shape.

It also gave her jacket more of a ‘shirt’ feel. So it looks adorable over a sweet little dress, but can be comfortably worn by itself as a shirt as well. Added versatility!

I decided to skip the optional front pockets to embellish her jacket with some vintage eyelet lace instead. Anywhere I can through in some vintage, right? And, it’s such a sweet and playful look for my little girl.

And, it looks so cute over this little dress I made from a vintage embroidered pillowcase. So perfect for Spring!

The Kingston features flat-felled seams with contrasting topstitching for a professional-looking finish.

This is what I love so much about Mummykins and Me patterns.

She puts so much thought into designing her patterns with clean finishes. I think these little details are what set her apart from other pattern designers. It gives your finished product an “I-bought-this” look. Not a “my-mommy-made-this” look. Lol 😉

Denim Jacket, 8

Of course, the Kingston Denim Jacket isn’t limited to just denim either. Sew it up in corduroy for a fabulous Fall jacket. Or, consider trying a luscious velveteen for a fancier look. Oh my goodness! Can you imagine?….

But, if that’s not enough inspiration for you, take a look at what some of these other talented ladies did with the Kingston Jacket:

Valerie, from Elegantine, made the most adorable Kingston for her little boy!

You all know I love a good up-cycle. Tori did an amazing up-cycled Kingston (worn over the Comfy Cowl Hoodie!) over at British Farm Wife In Training.
