Finally! The Elevation Hoodie for MEN

The long awaited Elevation Hoodie for Men has finally arrived! Oh, I’ve been waiting soooo impatiently for it πŸ˜€

The Elevation Hoodie for kids was THE pattern that introduced me to New Horizons (then, Terra’s Treasures). It’s such a fun and unique design, perfet for both boys and girls. And the fact that sizes go all the way up to a size 16 was a HUGE plus for this mom of 4. Then the Women’s Elevation Hoodie was released shortly after, and I was in heaven! In fact, you may remember my post a month or so ago featuring the Women’s Elevation Hoodie (HERE).Β So, I’m sure you can imagine my excitement for this pattern release! πŸ˜€

And what better way to celebrate than to take some sweet, and loving Daddy and Me photos in their hoodies? That is……if I can get these 2 to stop messing around……(sigh)…

Yikes! Not even close!….

Ok. I guess this will do, lol!

As you can see, these 2 are happy and cozy in their Elevation Hoodies.Lol <3

So, how ’bout some of just Daddy. Come on now. You can do it…

Yes! That’s better! Underneath all that goofiness, there is actually a nice smile in there <3

So, if you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard of the Elevation Hoodie, let me show you some of the coolness of this pattern:

The first thing I’m sure you’ve noticed, is probably that awesome color blocking. There are a LOT of hoodie patterns out there, but personally I have never seen another one that features color blocking like this. It kinda reminds a little bit of 70’s fashion (appealing to my love of vintage style) but in a more modern way, of course πŸ˜‰

Next, it the cross-over hood. So cool! A lot of Terra’s hoodies feature this design. The addition of these Eyelet Refills 1/4” Nickel I got from Amazon, gave it such a professional look. πŸ˜€

You can also choose whether or not to line the hood. I usually like to line my hoodies for a cleaner finish. But if you want to save on fabric, totally skip this part.

Another awesome feature of this hoodie is the welt pockets. Now I have to admit, for the longest time I avoided welt pockets. They always scared me, lol! I skipped them on all my kids’ hoodies because I just wasn’t ready to tackle them yet. But I finally broke down and tried them on my Elevation Hoodie (read more in my afore mentioned post) and now there is no looking back!

But, if you’re still on the fence about welt pockets, fear not! There is a video tutorial included with the Men’s Elevation Hoodie pattern that walks you through it, step by step. Incredibly helpful!

Then, of course, there is the size ranges. Starting at 6-12mo for kids, going all the way up to 3x for both men and women. The Elevation Hoodie really is for everyone!
