Boston Boatneck from Peekaboo Pattern Shop

Oh! I’ve got a good for you! The Boston Boatneck Tee and Dress just released today from the ever so popular Peekaboo Pattern Shop 😀

Boston Boatneck, 4

This raglan-style pattern is sure to be a staple in your wardrobe. Short or 3/4 length sleeves make this perfect for both Summer and Fall. With the boatneck neckline this is not your typical raglan style. Optional neck accent is a nice touch too.  And just as the name suggests, this pattern has the option for a raglan tee (like mine) or a super chic and cozy dress……That’s right, I put ‘chic’ and ‘cozy’ in the same sentence! 😉

Here is the designer’s dress version. Isn’t it (and her) adorable?

Dubbed the “momiform” by no other than Amy (the designer) herself, it certainly fits the needs of any mom (non-moms, too) out there. Made of knit material so you are sure to look good and still be comfortable at the same time. The optional patch pockets are perfect for all those little treasures your kids are asking you to hold. And it’s a super quick and easy sew so you’ll have this whipped up in no time. All WINS in my book!

As I said before, this pattern was designed for use with knits. For my tee version, I used this ultra soft (but not thick at all) french terry from Knitpop. I am absolutely in love with this floral print and I can’t believe how soft it is. My daughter kept ‘petting’ me, saying “so cozy”. Lol! I think most of the other pattern testers used jersey or cotton lycra  😉

Whether you make the dress or tee (or both!) you are sure to have a quick and stylish look as you hurry out the door. You may be exhausted from chasing the kids around (I know I always am), but at least you’ll look good doing it!

So head on over to Peekaboo Pattern Shop and check out the Boatneck Tee and Dress pattern. And while you’re there, take a look at the Grand Slam Tee and Dress for the kiddos and the Rocky Mountain Raglan for the hubs too. Yours would be the best dressed (not to mention, most comfortable) family at the park 😉

Happy sewing 😀
